Road Construction Update:

In the next few days, the entrance to the MVS parking lot will be blocked off while Enstar works on a replacement gas line. This work could take up to a month. Access to MVS will be about 200 yards to the south (toward Anchorage). The contractor is supposed to put up signage marking our temporary access

The Indoor Range will be closed for maintenance May 9th through May 12th. Both outdoor ranges will be open during the closure.

100 yd range will be closed until the Glenn Highway Construction is complete.
Indoor High Caliber Range will be open during Winter Hours consistent with the Indoor Range.

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

The Matanuska Valley Sportsmen, Inc. is dedicated to firearms safety education as a public service, marksmanship training as a contribution to individual preparedness for personal and national defense, and the sports of shooting, hunting, and fishing as wholesome forms of recreation.

 

Our Board and Staff are all volunteers, we are a 501c3 organization committed to our community.

MEMBERSHIP

 

We have several options for Voting and non-voting annual memberships including options for Seniors, Youth and Families.

All memberships allow shooters to enjoy the facilities at a reduced rate.

Voting members are encouraged to participate in our board and committees. Voting members elect the board at the annual meeting held every February.
